A Love's In Bloom

Man, oh man. I cannot even begin to explain how much I appreciate Valarie! From our initial meeting at Sbux...I just KNEW she was going to be absolutely amazing. She totally helped me hone in on my vision and ran with it (in a totally affordable way no less). She was so eager to help me in every way possible (and I had A LOT of questions). I was really set on having gold vases and she decided to add gold vases to her inventory to help me out—she goes above and beyond. On the day of my wedding she did not disappoint either—the flower arrangements and bouquets were out of this world GORGEOUS. I spent 2 years planning my wedding and a lot was depending upon those flowers—they were truly even more beautiful than I imagined. Seriously...you will not be disappointed! Valarie is THE BEST!

I received the most beautiful flowers possible. Every flower was perfect was exactly what I had wanted. The flowers lasted for days. I would definitely recommend anyone to go to them. The prices were fantastic.

Valarie with "A Love's in Bloom" is seriously the best. I went to a couple of florists first before going to her and they were wayyyyyy out of my price range. Valarie pulled it off for lss than half the pricetag of the other florists and that was even after I had everything I wanted and more. I couldn't believe it! I am referring her to all my friends who are getting married within the next year. She is very professional and got back to me within 24 hours usually. She is also a sweet lady. My flowers were stunning. I culdn't believe how amazing they turned out. As far as I'm concerned, she is the best florist in the Bay Area.

Valarie was fabulous. Her prices were the best of everyone I called. I was a little worried with 'seasonal' selections of flowers for my dark blue and white flowers, but the arrangements were just beautiful! I had her do the arch spray with ivy garland, my bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, boutineers for groom/groomsmen/dads/officiant (it was my husband's uncle), corsage/boutineers for our moms and a flower basket for the flower girl. They turned out beautiful! I was thrilled with what I picked up and I love the flowers in all of my pictures. I had a little trouble finding her house (I didn't want to spend the extra money on the delivery and set up fee since it was on the way from my parent's house to the site), but she answered promptly and came out to the street so I could find her.Definitely recommend Valarie! She's professional and has been in the business a long time. I loved my flowers! They were blue which isn't quite as common... and they were amazing!! Thank you so much!

Valarie was so amazing to work with! I can't say enough good things about her and her work! She captured my dream beautifully and helped make my wedding day my dream come true. She arrived early on the wedding day with all of the flowers which was amazing and she met with me whenever I just wanted to go over details. I have referred her to several of my friends and family and will continue to do so! You would be making a huge mistake if you didn't book her for your wedding!!!

Valarie met several times with me to help me figure out what kind of flowers I actually wanted and what looked good together. She was patient and flexible since I didn't really know what I wanted at first. She has a great style and really knows flowers. I wanted a memorial bouquet for the groom's late father but I had no idea what to put in it so I left it to her to make it "look exotic and reflect his love of travel." I got SO many compliments on how beautiful it was. The wind unfortunately wouldn't cooperate with my aisle runner but that wasn't Valarie's fault. Everything else was perfect, she was on time, professional and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!!

Valarie was wonderful to work with. We had many changes, even up to the week before the wedding, and she was always accommodating and flexible. I had no idea regarding the cost of wedding flowers, but when I told recently married friends what I was charged, they assured me that I was getting quite a deal. Not only that, but the flowers looked amazing on the wedding day, and I had so many complements on them. Everything turned out exceptionally!

Valarie's prices are fabulous! She can get flowers at prices better than warehouse prices! I cannot tell you how relieved I felt when she told me the price for what I was envisioning - SO AFFORDABLE! I had given up hope that I would be able to afford beautiful, professional flowers until I met with her!Valarie is also very flexible and responsive to requests and changes. I really appreciated this in the weeks leading up to my wedding. However the day of my wedding is when things kinda fell apart. Valarie had let me know that she had a family function to attend on the day of my wedding and her assistant with "years of experience" would be doing my wedding flowers, and I guess some things didn't get communicated to her. My MOH bouquet was the wrong color, the ceremony flowers were ok but arranged exactly how I had told Valarie I did not want, and the roses for the cake were not fully open which I had requested. However my bride's bouquet was beautiful, lovely, top quality, and smelled like a rose filled garden. I loved my bouquet and I received many compliments about it. And no one noticed or commented about the other flowers at all, me and my MOH were really the only ones who noticed.At the end of the day, my goal was to have the best "Value for Cost" for my flowers, and that is what I received. And Valarie ended up refunding me the cost of my MOH bouquet which was very nice of her to do so.

Valerie at A Love's In Bloom did a great job. The flowers exceeded my expectations and the prices were good.

I could not be happier that I choose A Love's in Bloom for my wedding flowers and ceremony arch. Valarie was so easy to work with, helped me figure out what colors and size bouquets would work best for my wedding, and even when my bridesmaids dresses came in a different color she was right there helping me change ribbon color and making sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it. We did shop around and A Love's in Bloom had the best price for what we were looking for, I never stressed about the flowers for my wedding so you can't ask for more than that during a very stressful time in your life! I will return to A Love's in Bloom for any other party I need flowers for.

Valarie really listened to what I wanted and made suggestions based on what she heard me say I liked (unlike some other florists I interviewed who seemed to only suggest things they thought were pretty). She had so many more options than other florists (for vase style, pedestal style, ribbons, ect.) and she had an extensive portfolio. She has so much knowledge about types of flowers, the many shades a flower comes in, and the availability throughout the seasons. She was incredibly accommodating, even coming to my house to pick up items I was providing that I wanted floral arrangements in/on (memory vase, bird cage for cards, ect.). I made A LOT of changes within a couple weeks of my wedding. I added boutonnieres, centerpieces for the balcony, changed what color/type of flower I wanted for certain arrangements. She was so easy going about it. She quickly sent me confirmation of my request, and then a new invoice. The day of my wedding she delivered flowers to three locations; my house, the church and the reception hall. She was so sweet when she came to my house. I didn't even know she was there until she came to a back room and handed me my bouquet. Such personal service! She told me how beautiful I looked and gave me a very quick run down on where she was heading next. But she did not ask me any questions. I think she just knew I was a control freak and would be calmed to know she was handling things perfectly!! I have no regrets having chosen A Love's In Bloom for my floral needs at my wedding. In fact, I am 100% certain that I chose the best possible company to work with. I have no regrets!! And that's hard to say when it comes to your perfect day. :) Thank you Valarie!

Floral arrangements are soo important in adding a unique touch to your wedding day and Valerie is the master at it!! I wanted peacock feathers in the centerpieces and my bouquet. Let me tell you she created my bouquet as envisioned and I LOVED it!!!! The bridesmaids bouquets were also behind amazingly adorable amd exactly how I envisioned! I can't say enough to Thank Val at A Love's in Bloom for how special she helped make our wedding. She was the first vendor we met with and the one we found most important to set the tone for the decor of the day. She was flexible when scheduling meetings and I liked that she really took notes and made suggestions based upon my reaction to photos and my comments about what I liked/didn't like. She was able to help design a theme that represented my taste...even better than I could describe it. At one point, I shared how much I loved hydrangeas and assumed they were beyond my budget. She found a way to include them and change my design to allow for the more expensive item!My bridesmaid dress was a unique color and she immediately found a solution that would tie in all the colors of the day and honor my original vision of elegance!She created a mock example of the centerpiece and helped me to envision what the "big day" would look like! On the morning of my wedding, she arrived to my hotel suite with the gorgeous bouquets and I knew I would be in for a special treat when I got back later to see my ballroom.She was genuinely excited to help and took photos and made me feel special. She even took the time to write the names of the recipients of the personal flowers so that my family could easily be honored and quickly be identified. When we got back to the hotel, and saw our ballroom for the first time...all I could see was the glow of beautiful floral centerpieces and all around me my idea of beauty and elegance came to life!Thank you Val for your help through the year long planning process.
