Karen was an amazing florist. She is very easy to work with, professional, helpful and sweet! I would highly recommend her for your wedding. When I found her, I was working on a short timeline. She was quick to respond and very flexible. The flowers were exactly the palette and style I was looking for. Her pricing is also more than competitive, with is a definate plus. I highly, highly recommend her!

Karen was the florist for our wedding at Kohl Mansion last summer and I cannot begin to explain how great it was to work with her. Throughout the entire planning process she was incredibly flexible, a great listener and easy to work with. After just an hour long meeting she had a great vision of what I wanted for our wedding. She met with my mom and I a second time closer to our date to ensure we were okay with the final plans--which as a bride--was a very reassuring thing and relieved a lot of stress leading up to the wedding. We even made some last minute flower changes and Karen was really easy going about it. On the day of our wedding I could not have been more thrilled with the way our flowers turned out. They looked like we paid a fortune, when really, Karen was very reasonably priced--really great value. This was the main reason we picked Karen in the first place since finding a reasonably priced wedding florist in the Bay Area is hard to do. I definitely recommend Huckleberry Karen Designs. Thanks again to Karen at Huckleberry Karen Designs! She helped make our wedding day incredibly beautiful and we cannot thank her enough.

Our flowers were absolutely beautiful for our wedding day. Karen captured exactly what I wanted for the day. She was incredibly patient when it came to me changing the colors and what I wanted. She also changed her vases at the last minute when we found out we were having round tables and rectangle tables. The colors were exactly what we wanted and made the tables pop. The bouquets were the best made bouquets I have every held. We did lots of pictures before hand and they held up beautifully, even with my bridesmaids swinging them around and tossing them! Karen is extremely talented and will make your floral dreams come true. She doesn't nickle and dime you and is honest with you when it comes to the budget. She works with what you can afford and doesn't talk you into things you don't need (which other vendors I met with all did!). She is a great floral designer and if you book her I know you will be incredibly happy with the results!

I want to start off by saying Karen is a true artist! I worked with her for my wedding in October and she did not disappoint. She was able to work with the types of flowers and colors I wanted for my reception and ceremony and the bouquets were gorgeous! She is a talented, fun, professional artist who actually listened to what I wanted and could budget for, which is not easy to find these days. Karen is amazing. She's so sweet. So accommodating. SO crazy talented. You give her a budget and she sticks to it (even goes under it!) and delivers GORGEOUS flowers!!! Our wedding was over 2 weeks ago and we're constantly getting raves from our guests. Those who took the centerpieces home were thrilled. The flowers lasted a long time, too!!! Thank you so, so, so much Karen!! You are awesome!!!!!!

This was a stressful vendor to pin down for our wedding. We were coming up against proposals that were far from our set budget and vendors that were condescending nonetheless. I was planning from a distance and relied solely on the reviews of past clients. All of these reviews sang the praises of Karen's work so I inquired and I am so happy I did! Karen's professional, sweet, and has a great eye! I gave very limited direction and just said give me these colors and make it look soft and fluffy! I was so pleased with everything she provided! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her to anyone looking for an amazing florist!

I met with Karen twice over the course of wedding planning and went over everything that we wanted and how to accomplish the 'look' we were going for! She is super easy to work with and gives her honest opinion. When I walked into our reception room I nearly fainted- I know it was a collaboration of vendors and wedding planning- but her flowers blew me away! It looked amazing!!! All of my guests were shocked as well and were completely impressed!

Karen is a miracle worker. At our first meeting I told her that I wanted peonies. I knew that Peonies had a really short season and that by mid July there probably wouldn't be a chance of them. However, on our wedding day, she told me she had a surprise. My bouquet had peonies! Hooray! In mid-July no less. Karen is so easy to work with and has a ton of great ideas. She also did a fabulous job on the bridesmaids bouquets and the centerpieces. I can't thank Karen enough for all her work on our flowers.

Another perfect vendor. Our flowers were AMAZING. Peonies, dahlias, cala lillies, kermit mums, oh my!! Karen was a joy to work with. She totally got what we wanted from the very first meeting. I never even met with another florist- she was that great!! Highly recommend her.

I came across Karen through the WeddingBee. She was teaching a DIY Floral Workshop in San Francisco so I signed up and dragged my stepmom with me. I knew in the beginning of planning that I wanted to try to do my own flowers to save money. Karen taught us the basics; how to process the flowers, how many we would need to order, how to make a bouquet, corsage and boutonnière. We left so much more confidant that we would be able to handle the flowers for the wedding! Doing my own flowers was my favorite part of the wedding. I was able to execute my exact vision and was extremely happy with the outcome. If Karen has more workshops please attend and if you don’t want to do your own flowers, hire her!

Karen was wonderful from start to finish. She provided us with questionnaires to get a general idea of what we wanted, and met with us at length to get the details right. She added extras like votive candles and extra flowers that we weren't expecting, and the wedding decor was absolutely stunning thanks to her. She was on time on the wedding day, extremely responsive via email, and an overall joy to work with. I would recommend her very highly!

Karen at Huckleberry Karen Designs comes a dime in a dozen. She's talented, creative, willing to try new things, and a visionary. I absolutely loved my bouquet - I brought Karen photos of my ideal wedding bouquet and groom's boutonniere and she delivered hands down! She works with brides who are on a budget too. And if you're a bride who feels that connecting with a vendor is important, then you must book an initial appointment/consultation with her - She's down to earth, easy going, and is very flexible with ideas. Hire her, you won't be disappointed!

Karen designed our invitations and did all of our flowers for us. I cannot say enough good things about her and her work. First, her work on our invitations and stationery was incredible - she created multiple designs for us to choose from, and she worked with us to create exactly what we wanted for our invitations. She also helped us find a great printer, and she was flexible and easy to work with. She has great communication as well - she was always responsive to emails and phone calls and flexible with her meeting schedule. Second, her floral work is incredible. She created the bouquets and boutonnieres for us, and they were all beautiful. She worked with me and my fiance to create arrangements that complimented our style, our attire, and our wedding. She is extremely knowledgeable about floral arrangements, and she is SO creative. Her work is stylish, elegant, and refined. She listened to everything I wanted and worked hard to make sure that the flowers were PERFECT for the wedding. I would recommend Huckleberry Karen Designs to every bride. Karen was one of my favorite vendors to work with, and she did a phenomenal job!

I cannot rave enough about the quality of Karen’s work. During the planning phase of the floral elements for the ceremony and reception, she took my completely random ideas and made it into something that made sense. She was very responsive to all of my e-mails and never made me feel like I was asking a stupid question (and I know there was one or two in there). I felt completely comfortable leaving everything in her hands. There was an issue with the wholesaler she had ordered the centerpieces from - they only gave her 10 wheatgrass flats instead of the 20 we needed – but she called me right away and had several options prepared for me. Normally something like this would have sent me into a tailspin, but my calm reaction speaks volumes of the trust I have in her abilities. I knew that whatever she came up with was going to be perfect. Seeing everything the day of the wedding was so rewarding. My bouquet and my bridesmaids’ bouquets were perfect. The bouts were perfect. The adorable flower girl pomanders were, yes, perfect. I had sent some navy polka dot ribbon to use to tie the pew buckets onto the pew ends at the church. Without even having to ask, she incorporated it into the BM bouquets and the FG pomanders, as well as the reception flowers. It helped tie together the theme of the wedding SO well in such a subtle way. Our guests kept coming up to us at the reception and raving about the centerpieces. In fact, all of the centerpieces were gone by the end of the reception! Our guests had taken them home with them (which is fantastic. I hate to see good flowers go to waste!). Bottom line: Karen is amazing. If you can snag her, DO. She is the consummate professional and is incredibly talented. She deserves every rave she gets!

Karen. What can I say about Karen. Karen kept me on the ball with our flowers. I got so busy in the last month leading up to the wedding, I kind of wanted to throw florals out the window, but since my friends and I were DIYing the centerpieces for our wedding, Karen went out of her way to drag my lazy butt into her studio and show me, step by step, everything we needed to know to execute our centerpieces. Mind you, she did this out of the kindness of her heart, she insisted that it was part of her job, and that all she needed to do for me was to make floral buys at the market at cost for them. But that's the kind of vendor she was, every step of the way. She was genuinely concerned about our progress every step of the way, and delivered gorgeous, fresh bouquets and florals. I've already recommended Karen to lots of brides! But Karen really takes the extra step, not only delivering beautiful bouquets, but does it with a true passion for her clients and for their flowers!

Absolutely amazing! We LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED all our flowers. We received countless compliments on everything. Karen is truly talented. On top of everything, she is probably one of the sweetest individuals you will ever come across.

Huckleberry Karen Designs was more than professional, flexible and kind! I would highly recommend her to any bride! I was working on a tight budget for floral pieces and she had great suggestions of how to lower costs and/or other options. I felt like I was talking to a good friend with her, exchanging emails and telephone conversations all about flowers.
