I used Julie for both my engagement photos and wedding. They job she did left me feeling confident and beautiful on both occasions. She was incredibly easy to work with, and stayed totally calm on the day of the wedding. Between my eight bridesmaids, parents, grandparents, in-laws who dropped by, and additional friends and family who stopped by while I was getting ready, it needless to say was pretty chaotic. Julie helped keep me focused and calm. I have heard from countless people that I have never looked more beautiful!I planned girls night with my bridesmaids after I did my hair and makeup test. My best friend was getting married three weeks before me, but had already booked different hair and makeup people. She was so impressed with the job that Julie had done, that she forfeited her deposits and worked with Julie. Julie is absolutely amazing! She did my hair and make-up for my wedding, as well as hair for all my bridesmaids. BOTH my hair and make-up turned out exactly as I wanted. I�ve read nothing but rave reviews about Julie, and I totally concur. She does a makeup trial before the ceremony where you can discuss what you want, takes pictures, and makes recommendations. She spends a lot of time with you to make sure you are happy with the results. She is great at doing very natural looking make-up too. She�s a calming influence on a hectic day. She did hair and makeup for my entire bridal party and my mother and MIL, and everyone was happy and looked gorgeous!

Julie listened to what I wanted and made me look amazing. She did a great job on my bridesmaids' hair as well. She has a great personality, is so easy to work with and makes you feel comfortable. She is definitely worth her fee and then some!

Julie was amazing! I had a consultation with her weeks before my wedding and it went beautifully- very excited and happy with the results. On my wedding day she was on-time, peaceful, calming, and there were no surprises. She even touched up my sister's hair last mintue which was not planned, but she was so generous and made her feel beautiful too! My make-up stayed on all day, and most importantly looked like "me". My hair is naturally curly, so she added more curls and styled to the side and put in place my crown and vail. She knew exactly what to do and how it would stay up all day. I know there is so much to spend on the wedding, but it is important to find someone like Julie to take the stress away as she takes care of all of your hair and makeup needs. Julie is a kind person who does wonderful hair & makeup design. She is interested in you beyond your hair & makeup, taking time to know more about you and your interests. She stays calm amidst all the wedding day activity. Julie takes care of small details that make a big difference, such as bringing straws to help you drink plenty of water without smearing your lip gloss! I was concerned about the costs, but liked her work from the test run and decided to go for it. I made the investment because I wanted a minimal makeup look and she delivered! Throughout, she was very responsive. I recommend Julie to anyone seeking a natural look of simple elegance for hair and makeup.

I met Julie at my friend's wedding and immediately knew that when/if my big day ever came I wanted to hire Julie for her service. Julie not only did my hair and makeup exactly how I wanted, but she did the same for my seven bridesmaids and mother. The only issue that day we had was timing and some of the bridesmaids had to start on their own makeup, but other than that the day went beautifully!

Really liked Julie and her work! She did a great job getting me ready for my wedding. We hadn't met before, but I trusted her from seeing her portfolio. She did exactly what I wanted and took her time to make sure I felt comfortable with everything. My girlfriends still bring up how great my hair and makeup were at my wedding. Her prices are steep... but its worth the peace of mind. Julie is also a calm and gentle person- which is a nice energy to have around on your wedding day!

Julie's work is amazing!! If you want an elegant natural look for your wedding or any occasion for that matter, you must hire Julie! She works wonders with hair AND make-up as well! She works well under pressure, very patient and so flexible! My mom and entire wedding party loved her. Also, I received so many compliments from all my guests regarding my make-up and hair. She makes you look gorgeous without looking so made up. She has an eye for what looks best on each individual. She is a true pro!

Julie is a brilliant makeup artist. Having worked as one myself for almost a decade, it was one of the hardest vendors to book and also one of the last. From the first phone call Julie completely put me at ease and I knew I was in the hands of a professional. Even with 8 people in the wedding party she and her assistant managed to pull off hair (each girl had a braid incorporated which was a neat touch) and makeup for everyone and make my makeup prettier than I have ever looked by my own hand. The hair looked great as well, and it can be very difficult when putting it up, so I was thoroughly impressed. One of the best parts as well was how sweet and calming she was, it was nice to have her around during that special morning. I would definitely recommend.

Julie is an incredible make-up artist and hair designer in addition to being a wonderful person. She was truly a joy to work with on my wedding day, and made me feel so relaxed and pampered. THe results were so naturally beautiful. Everyone she worked on in my wedding looked like a movie-star, including myself! She uses the best quality make-up that gives amazing results. Julie did such an amazing job on my make-up and hair for my wedding! My make-up was amazing but still natural looking, not caked on like you sometimes see. She did a fabulous job on my hair, which wasn't very long and is thin but she somehow gave me an elegant looking french twist- she is a miracle worker! On top of that, she is very sweet and easy going. Definitely a good person to have around you on your wedding day, she helped to keep the mood calm and fun.
