Julie Morgan: On Location Hair and Makeup Artist

Julie is the absolute BEST!! I would recommend her to any bride. She recently did my hair and makeup for my wedding. It was perfect! She has the vision and talent to know what will look best and she made me look natural and elegant. She listened to my ideas and managed to make me look exactly how I envisioned but BETTER!Julie also did hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and they were all thrilled with their "looks." Again, Julie showed her talent for knowing how to accentuate each individual's beauty. She used makeup colors that complimented each girl's natural coloring. And her updo's were amazing! She made each girl look unique, incorporating their requests (such as adding a front braid for a boho-chic look), while also working quickly to get us all done in time for pictures. One of my friends commented that she will NEVER see her hair look this good ever again! Most importantly, Julie remained calm throughout the day and she helped me to feel calm and confident. There was no problem or request that Julie couldn't handle with a smile and a reassuring word...so important on your wedding day! Julie's rate was less than others of comparable talent with whom I did trials. She included a very useful "touch up" kit on the day-of, which came in handy throughout the night. Not only did Julie offer the best deal, but I felt that she was the kindest and most professional makeup artist and she really took the time to make sure that I was completely happy with her work. Julie was very professional, efficient and friendly. She was on site and did hair and make-up for for five people. I told her what I had in mind for my hairstyle as a bridesmaid and she made it happen. It was perfect and beyond what I had imagined! My hair looked lovely and I recieved numerous compliments throughout the day. What amazed me was that my hair was done at 8:00 a.m. and lasted ALL DAY with little to no touch-up. The birdes hairstyle was beautiful and held up as well. I would definitely recommend Julie for your special day/event.

I first spotted Julie on her website (www.photomakeupartist.com). Though I recognized she did beautiful work (hair and make-up), I thought she was a little out of my price range. So, I tried a couple of other people, but was not as pleased with the results. They were professional and did a nice job, but it wasn't anything spectacular...and what girl doesn't want to look spectacular on her wedding day?! So I decided not to mess around anymore and called Julie. She was very friendly over the phone, knew exactly the kind of look I wanted, and put me at ease instantly..in fact we ended up finishing each other sentences! :-) She was soooo easy to work with and answered my emails quickly.Julie ended up doing 1 bridesmaids hair, 2 bridesmaids hair and make-up, my hair and make-up, and my Mom's hair and make-up. Everybody looked AMAZING!! And she did all of this in 6 hours!! I must admit I did get a little nervous about the time toward the end. We ended up running over only 10 minutes. She never made anyone feel rushed or not important, and never appeared nervous or anxious (about the time).My hair and make-up far exceeding my expectations.We received soooo many compliments at the wedding!! Julie fit my style perfectly. If you want something timeless and elegant Julie is your gal. Her looks are soft yet sophisticated, neat yet fresh. I really can't say enough about Julie. She is a true professional, and a true artist!!!

I used Julie for both my engagement photos and wedding. They job she did left me feeling confident and beautiful on both occasions. She was incredibly easy to work with, and stayed totally calm on the day of the wedding. Julie is an incredible make-up artist and hair designer in addition to being a wonderful person. She was truly a joy to work with on my wedding day, and made me feel so relaxed and pampered. I�ve read nothing but rave reviews about Julie, and I totally concur. She does a makeup trial before the ceremony where you can discuss what you want, takes pictures, and makes recommendations. She spends a lot of time with you to make sure you are happy with the results. She is great at doing very natural looking make-up too. She�s a calming influence on a hectic day. She did hair and makeup for my entire bridal party and my mother and MIL, and everyone was happy and looked gorgeous!

Julie was amazing! I had a consultation with her weeks before my wedding and it went beautifully- very excited and happy with the results. On my wedding day she was on-time, peaceful, calming, and there were no surprises. She even touched up my sister's hair last mintue which was not planned, but she was so generous and made her feel beautiful too! My make-up stayed on all day, and most importantly looked like "me". My hair is naturally curly, so she added more curls and styled to the side and put in place my crown and vail. She knew exactly what to do and how it would stay up all day. I know there is so much to spend on the wedding, but it is important to find someone like Julie to take the stress away as she takes care of all of your hair and makeup needs. Julie is a kind person who does wonderful hair & makeup design. She is interested in you beyond your hair & makeup, taking time to know more about you and your interests. She stays calm amidst all the wedding day activity. Julie takes care of small details that make a big difference, such as bringing straws to help you drink plenty of water without smearing your lip gloss! I was concerned about the costs, but liked her work from the test run and decided to go for it. I made the investment because I wanted a minimal makeup look and she delivered! Really liked Julie and her work! She did a great job getting me ready for my wedding. We hadn't met before, but I trusted her from seeing her portfolio. She did exactly what I wanted and took her time to make sure I felt comfortable with everything. My girlfriends still bring up how great my hair and makeup were at my wedding. Her prices are steep... but its worth the peace of mind. Julie is also a calm and gentle person- which is a nice energy to have around on your wedding day!

Julie is a brilliant makeup artist. Having worked as one myself for almost a decade, it was one of the hardest vendors to book and also one of the last. From the first phone call Julie completely put me at ease and I knew I was in the hands of a professional. Even with 8 people in the wedding party she and her assistant managed to pull off hair (each girl had a braid incorporated which was a neat touch) and makeup for everyone and make my makeup prettier than I have ever looked by my own hand. The hair looked great as well, and it can be very difficult when putting it up, so I was thoroughly impressed. One of the best parts as well was how sweet and calming she was, it was nice to have her around during that special morning. I would definitely recommend.
