after a horrible trial hair & makeup experience with another stylist, i found gayle and booked a trial with her. she understood my previous bad experience and did everything she can to put me at ease. she asks for inspiration photos for both hair and makeup before you meet with her, and she had really spent time to study these before we met. she took her time during the trial to make sure every detail was perfect and that i was happy with our results so she knew what to do on the wedding day. the morning of the wedding, she was a calming presence and really took her time to make every detail perfect. both hair and makeup looked even better the day of the wedding and i couldn't have been happier! thank you gayle!!

Gayle did a wonderful job with my hair. I showed her the hairstyle I wanted and she styled my hair better that my sample picture! The make-up artist, Sarah also did a wonderul on all my bridesmaids' and my make-up. Everyone complimented on our hair and make-up. Thank you Gayle & Sarah for such an amazing weekend!

Gayle responded to my initial inquiry within 24 hours. Her rates are exceptionally fair for the quality of work she does. Our initial consult was at Gayle's home studio. She listened to my ideas and proposed a number of styles that we tried during the two-hour consult. She took lots of photos and sent them to me to mull over in the days after the appointment. When I wanted to change the style, Gayle was happy to do it. On wedding day, she was on time and relaxed. My final hairstyle was exactly what I wanted. She did my maid of honor's hair in a half-updo that looked great, too. Finally, I have pretty sensitive skin and some allergies to many hair products, so I brought my own products -- which Gayle happily adapted to. All in all, Gayle was wonderful. I highly recommend her for brides and members of the bridal party.

I found Gayle through a work reference at almost the very last minute. From the moment I met her she put me at ease, and I felt completely safe in her hands. I just knew that whatever she came up with would look fabulous and it did! On our first meeting, she took the time to listen to what I thought I wanted, asked about the dress and the day and time and, within minutes it seemed, had created this beautiful semi-up-do which looked effortless and natural and utterly beautiful. When I left that day I had every confidence she would take great care of my bridesmaids and myself, and she did! My wedding was a midday wedding located about an hour away from the location where I was getting ready so Gayle had to show up quite early, but she was there on time, with a big smile and even had tissue at hand when I got a bit sniffly. I cannot say enough that is good about her, if I ever have the excuse to get my hair done up again, I wouldn't hesitate to call her, or recommend her to anyone else.

Gayle invited me to a free consultation at the studio in her home to discuss what I wanted for my wedding day. On the wedding day, she came to the wedding venue on time and ready to do my make-up and hair. This saved so much time during a jam-packed day. She created a wonderful look for me and I received so many positive comments from my guests about how I looked---everyone loved the flowered headpiece in my hair which she placed and well-secured it so it would not fall off during the evening. I would recommend Gayle to any bride who wants to look her best on this very special day in her life. And I want to say that I am not the usual young bride---I am 66 years old and looked and felt like a 20-something bride!

Gayle did an outstanding job on my hair and on top of that has the greatest and most calm composure to make you feel at ease and confident to find the perfect style you want for your wedding. I did a few trials with her and was so excited to have found her -esp. with such a great value for what she provides and professional in her services and responsiveness as well. She is very talented and was a pleasure to have around while i was nervous and getting ready to walk down the aisle! A secret gem, I highly recommend her for weddings or any event to make you feel like a supreme goddess.

Gayle was the best. Not only was she flexible with my date (over Labor Day weekend and quite a drive for her), she really got what I was looking for, and made my hair look like I've never seen it look before. She even went out of her way to find a picture of what I wanted, and then to make my hair look exactly like the picture. Gayle was friendly, accommodating and her prices were extremely reasonable! Most other hairdressers were charging an arm and a leg to travel to Napa, but Gayle's services were within my budget and I got exactly the style I was looking for.

Gayle is extremely professional and very reasonably priced for the Bay Area market. I contacted several people on line to get quotes. Some of them never returned my inquiries, and others either did not appeal to me, or seemed overpriced. While you want your hair to look good on your BIG DAY, you also don't want to spend an arm and a leg, considering all the other expenses you deal with on the big day!Gayle spent a lot of time with me at my intial consult trying to determine the best style for my face. I had a few ideas, but she ultimately came up with the final style. I never felt like I was taking up her time or inconveniencing her; she was patient and I could tell she really wanted to get it right. She took pictures and sent them to me so I could decide what I liked best. This was really helpful, as you soon forget what you even did that day once you leave the consult. She also asked for pictures of my bridesmaids and contacted them individually about what sort of hairstyles they wanted. This was really helpful, and it was one less thing I had to worry about. Gayle was also very responsive and accomodating with last minute changes.On the day-of, she was on-time and stayed on schedule. She even provided hair decor for the bridesmaids that had elected not to get their hair professionally done. Not only did she do great hair for myself and my wedding party, my hair stayed put throughout the evening.So hair styling is wonderful and she was completely professional in all of her correspondence and interaction. Gayle was amazing. She was so incredibly flexible for the trials. I was having a hard time figuring out what I wanted for my hair and we ran out of time to test the make up that day. She was so great at scheduling a second trial and working with me to figure it out.My sister decided at the last minute to also get make up and, again, Gayle was flexible with that.On the day of the wedding, we were running a little later than expected because my hair was not cooperating. Instead of trying to cram it in before the limo came, Gayle got into her car and followed us to the church to help us finish getting ready. It meant so much to me that she put in this extra effort.
