We're photojournalistic, but have an artist's eye so we try not to capture the extremely embarrassing (food in mouth, etc.).  We have one motto - every photo should have an emotion - so we don't just take pretty pictures.  We're trying to help you to remember every nuance of the day so that 30 years from now, that photo sparks a memory. :D  Even though posed portraits are important, they're not our focus - most of our time is spent capturing the day as it unfolds rather than dictating who stands where.

Also, as photojournalists, we stay in the background.  One couple even called us the Ninja photographers!  Your guests, family, friends - we make sure to capture at least one image of each guest if it's possible, and do it in a way where they don't know we're even there.

Even though my focus is on the moment, we strive to make those moments full of grace and beauty.  Our work has been featured in many national and regional wedding magazines and websites, including the Knot, grace ormond Wedding Style, Modern Bride, AboutWeddings.com, Today's Bride, WeddingChannel.com and more.  Our images will be featured in the new Palace Press book Your Dream Wedding Planner, too!
